Experience the best of Lekki peninsula in this 3-in-1 experience. We kick off the tour at the Lekki Conservation Centre (LCC), the largest urban jungle in Southwest Nigeria and home to an amazing variety of hundreds of fauna and flora species.
The highlight of this LCC experience is the expedition on Africa’s Longest Canopy Walkway. At 401metres long and a maximum height of 25metres, adrenaline junkies will walk shoulder high with palm trees while looking down at the thick swampy mangrove beneath, and savouring a refreshing view of the Atlantic Ocean in the distance. There’s also a tree house, a family park and a fish pond to explore before heading out to the second destination – the Lekki Arts and Crafts Market. A mecca of sorts for tourists looking to buy souvenirs of authentic Nigerian art, this is a famous market with a variety of fashion items, artwork and paintings, metal and woodwork, among others. And they come at very cheap and affordable prices. Final rendezvous for the day is the magnificent Nike Art Gallery, the largest contemporary art gallery in West Africa with more than 5,000 pieces of indigenous art. Exploring this massive 4-storey artistic temple is a tourist dream and a perfect place to wrap up a long, beautiful day.
