This full day tour explores the historical slave town of Badagry. Tourists will experience up-close the chains, guns, and other relics that characterized the suffering and trauma unleased by colonialists on African slaves. Among others, you’ll be fascinated by the very first storey building in Nigeria, first Yoruba language bible to be translated from English by the first African Bishop, the archaic architecture of the Colonial Quarters, the infamous Attenuation Well; and a brief boat ride across the Lagos Lagoon to the sobering Point of No Return. Brace yourself for an authentic historical immersion like never before.
