This is a walking tour of the biggest traditional market in Lagos. It’s a cultural immersion for tourists looking to mix with the locals to experience trade and commerce in its authentic form.
You will be exposed to the local food stalls, tailor shops, fashion kiosks, shea butter hawkers, and family businesses that have spanned generations as well as the elaborate supply chains that form their bedrock. The experience climaxes with a traditional ‘Gele’ (head-gear) tying experience (for the ladies) as well as a leisurely ride around the market in the local tricycle (also known as ‘Keke Marwa’).
