A flight search website that specializes in remote destinations, is partnering with Checkout.com to expand upon the ever-increasing list of payment methods it offers its customers. This will give customers the chance to pay in 150+ currencies and use multiple payment methods.
For a global company with an expansive base of international customers, like Alternative Airlines, Checkout.com is the perfect fit. Mobile payment will also become much easier for the site’s tech-savvy customers with the option to pay using Visa Checkout. American Express users will also benefit from a better user experience, as well as being able to protect their card details with its SafeKey feature.
Alternative Airline’s Managing Director, Sam Argyle, spoke about how the new partnership will make payment even easier for customers: “We want our customers to have as much flexibility as possible throughout the booking process. Now with Checkout.com we can accept all major debit and credit cards as well as allowing our customers to pay with their own regional method.”
Customers will now have even more payment alternatives at their disposal, with Checkout.com offering region-specific methods such as: Alipay (China) Boleto (Brazil), iDeal (Netherlands), Poli (Australia and New Zealand), Sofort (Germany) and, of course, Paypal which is used around the world.
