Nigerian Leather Export Gets Boost As Turkish Cargo Begins Flights to Kano

turkish cargoTurkish Cargo, one of the world’s fastest-growing freight operations, has begun operating flights to Kano from July 4. With the launch of this new route and doubling the frequency of its cargo flights to Dakar, Turkish Cargo is aiming at increasing its operations across the region.

Kano is the second destination in Nigeria that Turkish Cargo operates after Lagos. The service to Kano is a bid to capture the export markets for processed leather products in the European countries.

The addition of the Kano service will help direct connections to important markets such as India and Sudan, which were earlier routed via Lagos.

Appealing other important markets such as India and Sudan, all products, which have been manufactured in Kano but transported via Lagos before, will now be able to be transported right from the location of manufacture.
